Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Rent Tracker (“we”, “us”) for using renttrackerapp.com. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Rent Tracker

You must be at least 18 and using Rent Tracker to manage rental property you own or manage.

Early access and pricing

Rent Tracker is in early access and free to use. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we improve it. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you well in advance, and we'll never charge you without your agreement.

Your account

Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access to it, email us right away.

Your data

What you put into Rent Tracker belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service for you. You're responsible for making sure the information you enter is accurate, and that you have a lawful reason to keep the tenant information you add.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use Rent Tracker for anything illegal, including housing discrimination;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or disrupt or attack the service;
• copy, resell, or build a competing product from the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Not professional advice

Rent Tracker is a record-keeping tool. It isn't legal, tax, or accounting advice. Totals and downloads are a convenience; please check them, and talk to a professional for advice about your situation.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Rent Tracker running and accurate, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. There may be bugs or downtime. Keep your own copy of important records; you can download your payment history from the Money page at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, such as lost rent or lost profits, from using or being unable to use Rent Tracker. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Ending your use

You can stop using Rent Tracker at any time and ask us to delete your account. If we ever decide to shut the service down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Rent Tracker after that means you accept the new terms.
